haven't been around here in a while... I should post some art

@_@ all the categories on deviantArt confuse me

wtf? I must be way behind. I visit deviantart probably every day or so but only to see if I have messages. normally I do, I swear nobody ever comments, it's just faves or journals or deviations. however that's besides the point. maybe I'm just retarded, but I have been trying to understand the way they changed the main page of this site in regards to new posts and categories and I just don't get it. where the hell are the new posts? and why are there like fifty million categories that say fanart or miscellaneous or whatever? o.O what's the difference between fanart and fanart drawings? HOW DO I KNOW WHATS NEW

the other day I was trying to look for new posts (I always find it amusing to refresh the main page and have different pictures show up since everyone posts every second of the day). it's kind of annoying now though considering I don't really get many visitors O_o so if I actually post something, i'd like it to actually be able to be found through the main page. it's probably just me being so out of the dA loop and all

there's probably no need to explain it to me seeing as I won't get it, I really just feel like bitching
